Let’s Vote - Chanel Hardware Colors
If you were getting the gift of a Chanel tote for your birthday what color hardware would you choose?
Gold? Or silver?
The only hardware is the double C’s and clasp.
There is no chain.
The color of the leather is black.
I can’t remember which one I have! I know I started off with the nickel but returned it because I wanted the one with the double C’s. Can you tell I use it all the time? If you want….I will check when I get home tonight and let you know.

Gold! That’s the color of the metal on my bag so I’m a little biased! Lucky girl!!!
For myself, I would pick silver, ‘cuz I can’t stand gold. But, gold is more classic as far as a Chanel bag is concerned, no?
Hard call. Either way, it will be gorgeous.
I think gold is old school (classic & vintage) and silver is more contemporary. You really can’t make a mistake with such little hardware. I would choose silver just because I tend to wear more of those tones with my watch, jewelry, etc. However, I do like the gold too. Good thing I’m not having to decide…

I’m with Lisagh on this one. I personally wear platinium jewel so I think it would go more but really gold seems so much more Chanel. And I don’t think you can get any more classic than a black Chanel with gold hardware.

Lucky girl! I would go with silver. In the long run, I think that’s what I’d like more.
