Recommendations - Jefferson Hotel
I have been traveling again. As you know, I work with my mother and she was on the trip too. We had big plans of what we were going to get done. Well, someone else had different ideas.
I have been flying back and forth to Richmond, VA for a project that is in the surrounding area. Then in July I will start a new, different one.
The Jefferson Hotel, where we normally stay, really came thru for us when my Mom became violently ill with food poisoning.
1. Concierge had valet waiting with a wheelchair and coverings to get her into the hotel.
2. Housekeeping washed her pants for free in the middle of the night. And returned them at 12:30 am.
3. Bellhop let me into the gift shop at 12 am to buy every medicine they had. Including the $8 bottle of Pepto-Bismol.
4. Called in a car cleaning service early this morning to detail the rental car so I could go to my jobsite.
5. No less than 5 staffers wanted to know if she was OK and feeling better.
I highly recommend this hotel and the fabulous staff who helped us thru the worst business trip ever.

OMG, that is so awful! I hope your mom is feeling better.
Food poisoning is so painful!
Hopefully your mother’s feelin’ better!
The hotel sounds SOOOOOOO much better than the fabulous Comfort Inn I stayed in on the outskirts of Richmond in December, even though it was only $38 with crappy “internet” “access”. Guess one gets what one pays for! But hey, at least we were next to a Waffle House (because the continental “breakfast” ended promptly at 5 minutes before I got down to get some of it). And also I can’t forget…
Wait a minute. Eight dollars for Pepto? Dang!
As a girl who grew up in Richmond I am so glad you got to experience The Jefferson, but I’m sorry about the circumstances. Come back another time!
