Conversations about Life

So this week I had several rude awakenings.

1) My closet was out of control. I bought to much stuff when my Dad died. There 6 trash bags of CLOTHES to get rid of. More to come. The question is how can I help other people successfuly clean out their closets and mine got so out of control?

2) I need to loose another 12 lbs to be where I want to be.

3) My fantasy of being a SAHM is never going to happen. EVER. I am ok with it. Not the hand I have been dealt. But I guess, as a girl, I thought it would. It’s just not.

4) People never change. Once a liar, always a liar.

5) I’ve stepped up to plate many times and just need to continue doing what I do. I was told that I “play with the big boys and stand to loose a lot”. Guess I need to just keep getting on base.

All of this has been realized or discussed this week. And honestly, it was a little hard to take.

Yeah, that is the one good thing. Everything just really got to me yesterday.

I too bought a ton of clothes when I was dealing with a lot of stress. I guess I could have had a worse reaction. Hang in there!

Hang in there kiddo. You are most definitely a survivor. Tomorrow is a whole new day :)

  5. Hang in there! I hope your week gets better! Your Atlanta chef guy is definitely going to be a front runner, from what it looks like. Looks like another good season to come on Top Chef! YAY!

My dad died last summer and ever since, I cannot stop buying clothes…I am glad to hear I am not alone in that one.

Your birthday in Vegas sounds amazing!

Hope you’re safe after that terrible weather that just went through!

Hang in there! Things will get better. But I do hope you didn’t get caught in that tornado in downtown Atlanta! As far as all those clothes, you certainly know how to give those away. One way that’s just too easy for me: all those clothing drop boxes in Baltimore. Do they have those in your neck of the woods?

Of course, I say all this while I stress over work for the next school year. The full time college job is ending in June, and there is no guarantee of any K-5 work. Plus I just find out they’ve apparently cut back on special ed jobs of all things! It always storms before the sun. Let’s just hope it isn’t another tornado :(
