I want to be huge in Japan too

I don’t get the whole “but they are huge in Japan” thing. Why are skanks with long blonde hair huge in Japan? Here is a link to a post from Dlisted regarding the latest flavors of the moment, the Landers women. See picture below.

(And this picture also pisses me off because of the Tory Burch bag. I am having a love moment with Tory and this ruins it.)

Same with the Hiltons and Tinsley Mortimer. The Hiltons are known skanks, not so sure about Tinsley. And everyone gets a Samantha Thavasa contract to “design”.

How about me? I feel like I could be big in Japan too. I’m fun. I like glamour. In my own mind, I am sure other people would buy my taste in handbags and clothes. Not that I have design experience, but that obviously does not matter to Samantha Thavasa.

Maybe I should of tried this when I was younger and still dancing on tables like Paris. Not walking around construction sites in a hard hat and pink polo. If that’s not glamorous and totally marketable, I don’t know what is.

Yeah I think I could have been big in Japan too - back in the day - forget about now!

Did you start a new blog and not invite me? If so, I am going to be pissed!

Yeah, there is blog set to private. It only has one post on it. It is not a very nice post and I could not let most of these people see it. Because anything I post on this site won’t be nice. But I will invite you. And only you for now.

  3. I don’t get it either but the scary thing is… I was a Lander’s fan when I was younger and watching Fantasy Island/Love Boat/Dallas, her daughters are old, which therefore means, I’m old!!! :-( The one on the left really has the Lander face… Enough for the flashback!

    Have a great weekend!

Leslie! I just saw a show on tv discussing beauty trends in Chinese women. They are having the bones in their legs sawed in two and a metal rod implanted to make themselves 2 to 3 inches taller. I think it was the ABC news but I don’t remember.

Oh good. Because you know Confessions is like that from time to time and I did go private so let me know!

  6. I’m just plain sick and tired of all skanks in general. Enough already.

I can’t believe she lets her kids dress so trashy…yuk.

That metal rod thing is nasty. Thankfully, I am 5′9″.

  9. Eeewwww…..that just gross.

I don’t know what the deal is with Japan, either. They are totally into the anglo look. My friend’s husband teaches there at a DOD school, and the big thing for Americans and Europeans to do is get their kids in modelling in Tokyo. They have two red haired girls who are 5 and 3 and they have been in all kinds of big deal photo shoots for Japanese magazines.

BTW, is she the one who was married to Cliff Barnes on Dallas. Or are all of you too young to remember Dallas? I think they show reruns on the soap network.

It would be a shame for the skanks to ruin how you feel about Tory Burch’s classic designs. ;)

  11. Being blonde is a phenomenon in Japan. I remember going to dinner with some German clients of my dad’s in Singapore, and I was watching their 6 year old daughter who was gorgeous and had a headful of soft, blonde curls.

We rounded the corner at the restaurant into a roomful of Japanese business men and they all stopped, gawked, and proceeded to take her picture. I thought the poor child was going to be blinded by the flashes. I had to whisk her away before she freaked out even more because some of the men came over wanting to TOUCH her hair!

    Freaky.
