Conversations with Ed
I flew early yesterday to NJ to that wedding I mentioned earlier. Here is some of what was discussed on the plane.
Ed: I want a Bloody Mary
Me: I am so disappointed that Abigail is so highly ranked on the baby name list. (Mind you we aren’t even trying.)
Ed: I’m sorry, but I still want a Bloody Mary
Me: I have always like the name Lily Anne.
Ed: Why do you Southerners always have to tack Anne onto girls names? Why can’t it be Lily Tiberius? That sounds soft, yet strong.
Me: Don’t be ridiculous! My middle name is Ann, and it is nice when you say the two names together.
Ed: I think our child should have a name that is a reflection of us, but so she will also fit in with the community.
Me: Ok, what ideas do you have?
Ed: What do you think about Jin Anne Tonique?
Now doubles over laughing.
And you will only get that the name is funny if you are familiar with people with made-up names.
Further along in the flight.
Me: How many people do you think it is going to take to lift the groom in the chair?
Ed: Me, the best man and a crane.
Me: Well, don’t hurt yourself.
It took 8 to lift the groom and they almost dropped said groom ON ED. And his back hurts.

Now that is funny. Glad you survived the wedding
LOVES IT. Especially the “Anne” part!
xoxo,
Traci Anne Guinevere
Jin Anne Tonique! LOVE it!!!!
Flippin’ hilarious… wish i could have kids if only to name them Jin Anne… (actually know someone named Ginanne - short for Virginia Anne).
Jin Anne Tonique
That’s funny!!!
Anne also works quite well as the first name. Anne Marie, Anne… uhm… Okay, maybe just Anne Marie. I know a few Anne Maries and a few Mariannes. Then again, the name du jour in my family is Catherine.
TOO FUNNY!
Happy Belated to Ed!
I am also a Leslie Ann, no ‘e’! Cheers to us
I recently started to think that Vivian is a nice name. Where the hell did that come from??
