Things I am Obsessed With - NYC Fashion Parties
Since I was a kid I have been obsessed with fashion and NYC. Not so obsessed with NYC anymore, but I definitely keep up with fashion and all the parties that come with it. I much prefer these to say, the different Hollywood awards shows. The CFDA’s have occurred and now it is time for who wore what.

Southern girl turned NYC socialite Tinsley Mortimer. (Her handbag line for Samantha Thavasa is hideous.)
Amy Astley from Teen Vogue
These are some of my favorites. Don’t care for the opaque tights though.
Having lived in NYC for 8 years I am still sort of in the know when it comes to that scene.
It’s a little late to be wearing tights!
I forgot to add that one of my brother’s best friends went to Lawrenceville with Tinsley and Topper…hilarious now that she is the “it” girl. I agree about her “handbag line.”
Yes, I found it odd that a magazine editor was still wearing the tights to such a big event.
The whole Tinsley issue is a funny thing. However, I do like her outfit. But I think it is more Southern (or anywhere else) than NYC.
It is rather odd to be wearing tights this time of the year.
I have a really good friend that just moved to Atlanta. She is so excited. So far she and her family are really in love with their new city.
That is so great. ATL is the best in my opinion. However, I will soon be splitting time between here an College Park, MD due to my husband’s impending post-doc.
i would love to spend a day in their shoes. get primped and pampered…go to the parties in free amazing clothes. they’d probably all drive me nuts, but i’d have fun judging their outfits.
